During a recent lecture at Bao’an Middle School in Shenzhen, China, Chairman of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group Yu Chengdong pulled a Huawei Mate 70 smartphone out of his pocket, claiming it features 100% domestically produced chips. Huawei released the Mate 70 series on Nov. 26, with the Pro models debuting the new generation Kirin 9020 chip.
