Meta has signed four new clean energy agreements, securing additional solar and wind energy for its massive data center operations, the companies announced Thursday.

The technology company’s agreements with developer Invenergy will make way for projects in three U.S. states and provide Meta with an additional 791 megawatts.

The projects in Ohio, Arkansas and Texas are expected to bolster Meta’s operations, data center growth and clean energy goals, Invenergy said in a release Thursday.

“We’re laser-focused on advancing our AI ambitions—and to do that, we need clean, reliable energy,” said Urvi Parekh, Meta’s head of global energy.

It is the latest in a string of energy deals Meta and other technology companies have made in recent months to meet the increasing power demand of artificial intelligence (AI) and computing operations.

Meta announced earlier this month it secured a 20-year deal with Constellation Energy to utilize nuclear power for AI and other technology developments.

As part of the agreement, Meta said it will expand the output of Constellation’s Clinton Clean Energy Center in Illinois, which was slated to close in 2017 amid financial troubles.

The center’s clean energy output will increase by 30 megawatts under the new deal, which is expected to preserve 1,100 local jobs and generate $13.5 million in annual tax revenue.

Meta is increasingly turning its focus to AI, which requires an unprecedented amount of energy to develop and operate and power data centers. The company said it expects to nearly double its spending this year for this pivot.
