Microsoft continues with its mass layoff plans for its large -scale investment in artificial intelligence, and is already planning another round of outputs that will affect thousands of its workers. On this occasion, according to Bloomberg, the dismissals They will mainly affect your sales area.

Apparently, the company plans to announce the departures at the beginning of next July, after its fiscal year ends. Although the company is going to focus especially on sales, layoffs will also affect other areas, still to be completed. These exits follow another round of layoffs in May that affected 6,000 employees of Redmond. Above all, positions related to engineering and product. Then there were no personnel from areas with more customer -centered operations, such as sales and marketing.

Last April, the company communicated to its workforce that it had plans to use third -party companies to manage more sales of its software to SMEs. In addition, Microsoft has confirmed that from time to time evaluates its organizational structure to ensure that it invests. Since they are currently investing tens of billions of dollars in servers and data centers, their address has already warned its workers that it will keep investment in other areas under more control.
