In addition, in the future, users will be able to see how many credits the individual tasks cost – according to Microsoft, “shortly after the general market launch”.

DeepSeek and much more

Copilot Cowork customers can choose from several AI models, including Anthropic Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6. Participants in the Frontier program, Microsoft early access program Copilot also have access to OpenAI GPT 5.5 and the Cowork 1 model from Microsoft.

The Redmond-based company also appears to be discussing hosting a version of DeepSeek’s open source models. “We are actively evaluating various options that meet these requirements, and DeepSeek is one of several models being shortlisted. Additionally, Microsoft announced new integrations with third-party apps like Miro and Monday.com. Other programs, including Adobe, Box and Canva, are expected to follow soon. (tf)
