Motorola’s Razr phone line-up is one of the most iconic – starting in 2004 and then morphing into flip-style foldables. In fact, the newest Razr phone is my favourite foldable phone, with the 60 Ultra scoring a full five stars in our review.
Now at CES 2026, the brand has stretched the Razr into a full-on tablet-style foldable. It’s called the Moto Razr Fold, and crams everything great about the Razr 60 Ultra into a larger device.

The Razr Fold opens up to a whopping 8.09-inch 2K display, which looks massive in Motorola’s renders. It’s an LTPO display, which means it can crank down to just 1Hz and all the way up to 120Hz. While Motorola hasn’t officially said anything, we can expect the Razr Fold to land with an Always-On Display, and a refresh rate of at least 90Hz (but more likely 120Hz).
Folded shut, you get a 6.56-inch external display to play with, which is pretty sizeable for a cover screen. The whole thing is meant to be thin and elegant, but Motorola hasn’t revealed its thickness just yet. As you’d expect, the foldable is launching in some rather stylish colours: Pantone Blackened Blue and Lily White, which sound like luxury paint finishes than phone options.
It’s got three 50MP lenses around the back – one main, one ultrawide/macro, and a 3x periscope telephoto. They’re all powered by a Sony LYTIA sensor, so they should produce some decent shots. The foldable also supports Dolby Vision recording, which makes me a very happy customer. A 32MP camera sits on the outside for closed-selfie duties, while a 20MP internal camera handles video calls or group shots.
Since it’s 2026, you’ll be able to use AI features like “Catch me up” and “Next Move” which help you to stay organised. I imagine Gemini and Circle to Search will also make an appearance. Motorola’s also supporting the device with its Moto Pen Ultra stylus, which suggests they really are targeting the Galaxy Z Fold crowd. The interface has been reworked with flexible layouts and adaptive panels to make the most of the big screen.
There’s no word on price yet, and availability details are still under wraps. Motorola says more info will land in the coming months, so I’ll keep an eye out for when you can actually throw your money at this sleek folding slab.
