Name.com expands API integrations across Netlify, Replit, Vercel and Bolt – News

Domain name registrar and web hosting provider name.com today announced new partnerships and deep product integrations with several of the web’s most widely used development platforms, including Bolt Inc., Netlify Inc., Replit Inc. and Vercel Inc. — a move aimed at removing friction between application development and domain deployment.

The new integrations embed name.com’s application programming interface directly into modern cloud-based development workflows, allowing developers to search, register and deploy domains without leaving the platforms where they build and publish applications.

The idea is that by eliminating the need to switch tools during the launch process, development teams can accelerate time to market, improve conversion rates and simplify infrastructure management.

Each partner is using the name.com API in distinct ways. Netlify, which has long offered built-in domain registration using name.com, now allows customers to attach custom domains directly from its dashboard. Replit has now added native domain registration and management capabilities inside its development environment to allow creators to go from coding to live deployment in a single workflow.

Vercel has rebuilt its entire domain system from the ground up and selected name.com as its exclusive registrar and Bolt is now using name.com’s API to ensure domains and hosting are core features of the Bolt experience, alongside capabilities like unlimited databases and secure payments.

“We’re focused on making domain management as effortless as possible,” said Sammy Ahmed, vice president and general manager at name.com. . The name.com API and integration with these development platforms represent a major step toward that goal. By embedding our services directly into the tools developers use every day, we’re helping innovators launch their ideas as quickly and effectively as possible.”

Each partnership is supported by custom integrations and purpose-built features to ensure that the name.com API adapts to diverse platform needs.

Name.com is positioning its API as an AI-native infrastructure component, with a platform that is built on OpenAPI standards and is designed to support both developer experience and future agent-driven workflows. The API also supports the Model Context Protocol to allow AI agents to securely interact with domain services as part of automated software deployment and management pipelines.

The launch today comes after name.com has recently launched features including a zone checker, top-level domain requirements and webhooks that streamline automation and compliance, with a focus on empowering partners to deliver smarter, faster and more reliable domain management solutions.
