NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang recently visited China, making stops in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai to celebrate Lunar New Year with local employees. The visit, which began Jan. 19, is expected to last about a week. An analyst suggested that Huang is likely gathering feedback from employees, developers, and customers during his trip, which could provide valuable insights for shaping NVIDIA’s future strategies in the Chinese market. Despite US chip export restrictions, NVIDIA remains committed to investing in China, where its workforce has grown to about 4,000 employees, Huang said at the Beijing office’s annual meeting. Additionally, as a key figure among major US tech companies, Huang was notably absent from the inauguration of President Donald Trump on Monday. [Yicai, in Chinese]
