Nvidia has expanded its solutions to development of the local With the Jetson T5000, a system in a single chip (SOC) that is transformed from a compact plate into a professional work station computer.

The development of AI through local computer systems continues to gain ground as increasingly powerful solutions such as the Jetson T5000 included in the Jetson Agx Thor Developer Kit development market.

Commercialized as a system for developers, dimensions and format are firmly located within the scope of a mini-PC, although their design and purpose are more aligned with the implementation of Edge and robotic systems than with domestic computer science.

Jetson T5000, power in compact size

NVIDIA states that Jetson T5000 offers 2.070 TFLOPS (FP4, Sparse). An impressive power for its size, thanks to its 2,560 cores GPU based on the Blackwell architecture, with 96 fifth generation tension cores and multi -instance GPU functions.

This system is paired with a CPU ARM Neoverse-V3ae of 14 nuclei and 128 GB of memory LPDDR5X. The network is managed by four 25 GBE connections, with NVME storage support through PCIE. The AGX Thor kit includes coding and decoding video support in multiple 4K and 8K transmissions.

For connectivityIt is sent with a reference carrier plate equipped with a 6E 6E, SSD NVME 1TB and standard purification interfaces. The network includes a QSFP28 interface with four 25 GBE channels and a 5 GBE RJ45 connector, which highlights its approach to applications with many sensors.

The kit also supports expansion through M.2 slots and offers HDMI 2.0by Displayport 1.4A outflows, along with multiple USB ports. Its physical dimensions are 243.19 X 112.4 x 56.88 mm, compact compared to most PC designs for work stations.

Nvidia will also offer a Low -end option, the Jetson T4000which is still in development, but the first specifications list a performance of “1200 Tflops (FP4, Sparse)”, a 1536 core GPU and 64 GB of memory.

Both modules work in a wide power range: the T5000 has a nominal power of between 40 and 130 watts and the T4000, between 40 and 75 watts. This device is designed to provide researchers and engineers with a complete platform to test robotics and edge workloads.

The Jetson Agx Thor development kit with the Jetson T5000 module is priced at $ 3,499 and is available for anticipated order in selected distributors, with expected delivery as of November 20, 2025.
