Pizza Hut remains one of the most popular chains around the world for anyone looking to enjoy their delicious pizza of choice.
But the unveiling of a new logo has prompted confused reactions from fans – one of whom dismissed it as “pointless”.
The new design makes a slight change to the font on the letters, and keeps things simple with just a plain red colour.
It was shared on social media to dismay among customers.
“Now everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon of changing logos,” one account posted.
“This just dropped from Pizza Hut. Is this the magic elixir for slumping sales?”
Commenters were quick to voice their agreement, sharing their own baffled reactions to the change.
One said: “Bruh, enough with the single color bare bones logos.
“Where’s the style these days?”
Another replied: “Everything has been going bland in the last couple of decades.
“There are numerous theories about why but the style and color have been going away for a while. This is just the next step.”
A third said: “Try making a better product, don’t worry about the logo.”
Pizza Hut was contacted for comment by The Sun.
It comes after an iconic American restaurant is switching up its image, controversially changing its logo after nearly five decades.
Cracker Barrel has rolled out its newest trademark design after 48 years.
But many fans are not happy with the change, and some have even threatened never to eat there again.
The chain’s emblem has featured an image of a man resting by a barrel since 1977.
But Cracker Barrel ditched as it unveiled its fifth logo in company history.
