In-N-Out, the beloved West Coast burger chain known for its fresh ingredients and loyal fanbase, continues its steady growth while maintaining its commitment to quality.

The beloved California-based chain confirmed it will be opening restaurants in four states.

Founded in 1948, In-N-Out has steadily grown beyond California, beginning with a Las Vegas location in 1992.

Arizona was added to the roster in 2000, followed by Utah in 2008.

More recently, the company has expanded into Colorado, Oregon, Texas, and Idaho.

RAPID EXPANSION

As of this year, the chain has opened a new restaurant in Brighton, Colorado.

It also plans to open locations in Surprise, Arizona, and Ridgefield, Washington.

The new store in Ridgefield marks the chain’s debut in Washington state, expanding its presence to a ninth state overall.

In-N-Out’s expansion strategy focuses on areas with high population growth while ensuring proximity to its distribution facilities to maintain freshness standards.

The company remains privately owned and does not franchise, allowing it to control quality across all locations.

SOCIAL MEDIA BUZZ

As In-N-Out continues to grow, it also plans to establish a new corporate hub in Nashville, Tennessee, by 2026, supporting further expansion into the Southeastern US.

Despite its growth, the company emphasizes that quality will always take precedence over rapid expansion.

News of the Washington debut has generated buzz among fans on social media who have long awaited the chain’s arrival.

“Yes! We’re excited to get one so close to home!!” said one fan on Instagram.

New In-N-Out locations opening in 2025

  • Surprise, Arizona: 16440 W. Cactus Road
  • Indio, California: 82177 Ave. 42
  • Modesto, California: 3401 Oakdale Rd.
  • Monrovia, California: 560 W. Huntington Dr.
  • Sylmar, California: 13864 Foothill Blvd.
  • Brighton, Colorado: 3860 Eagle Blvd.
  • Ridgefield, Washington: 5801 Pioneer Canyon Dr.

“Significantly superior to Chipotle or most other restaurants honestly aside from the elite level farm-to-table spots that cook in butter/evoo,” said a fan on X.

“In-N-Out is so much better [than McDonald’s],” another wrote on Facebook.

NEW HQ

Meanwhile, In-N-Out is also undergoing a significant corporate shift.

In February, owner Lynsi Snyder and Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced plans for a new company hub in Nashville to better support Southeastern expansion.

“I know my family would be in support of this move because it brings our In-N-Out family back together in a way that helps us better serve our customers, who are the most important priority,” said Snyder.

The longtime corporate base in Irvine, California will no longer be the sole headquarters.

It will, however, remain operational alongside a second location in Baldwin Park – the original home of In-N-Out.

Employees from Irvine will transition to the Baldwin Park site as the company adopts its new dual-headquarters model.

In-N-Out did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
