Prime Day looked a little different this year. Amazon extended the sale to four days of shopping, and while we thought the event might never end, you have just hours left to nab our favorite Kindles on sale.

Mashable shopping experts have tested and reviewed the entire Kindle family, and all our favorite Amazon e-readers are still on sale, as of this writing. You can also score savings on Kindle bundles.

Prime Day 2025 ends at midnight on Friday, July 11, so you’re fast running out of time. Remember: Amazon rarely offers discounts on Kindles, and we don’t expect to see these e-readers on sale again until at least October. Check out our favorite Kindle deals from the Prime Day 2025 sale below, and don’t wait any longer to close out that shopping cart.

Best Kindle deal

Why we like it

“After testing the Kindle Paperwhite, I thought I’d be ruined for the standard Kindle, but that just wasn’t the case. The Kindle comes in a smaller package, the lightest device among the bunch. Plus, the 6-inch size makes it practically pocket-sized. Generally, it feels nicer to hold in my hand and bring on the go — exactly what I want in an e-reader.

Sure, it’s not as high-tech as the Paperwhite, but I think it’s an even better size. The screen has the exact resolution as the Paperwhite, but just a bit smaller. You lose some screen space with its plastic casing, but I liked the rimmed front design, which makes it easier to hold. While it also has the bottom power button, it is far less touchy than the other Kindle models.” — Samantha Mangino, Shopping Reporter

Best Kindle Paperwhite deal

Why we like it

Read Mashable’s full review of the Kindle Paperwhite.

“The Kindle Paperwhite is as good as an e-reader can get with its responsive interface, quick-turning pages, and lightweight design.

The Kindle Paperwhite is not just the best Kindle but the best e-reader overall. It’s compact and lightweight, just the right size for toting around. The screen strikes the balance of tech and paper, and the adjustable warmth makes reading in the evening better for your eyes. With the release of the 2024 model, it’s the fastest Kindle yet, which is good news. When you turn the physical page, it never buffers, so digital readers deserve the same.” — Samantha Mangino, Shopping Reporter

Best Kindle Scribe deal

Why we like it

Read Mashable’s full review of the Kindle Paperwhite.

“Kindles are great e-readers — our favorite, in fact. So, it’s no surprise that the Kindle Scribe has the same possibilities. You can access books through the Kindle Store or Libby. Like all Kindles, there’s seamless Libby integration to make it easy to read your library books.

But it has something other Kindles don’t, the ability to annotate. With an included stylus (called the “premium pen”), you can write using the notebook feature as a digital notebook. Plus, this latest generation of Kindle Scribe allows you to annotate within the margins of books. I used it to annotate long PDFs, write notes in the margins, and handwrite line edits. Once I was done, I could send the annotated document from the Kindle to my email so I could easily send it back to my colleague.” — Samantha Mangino, Shopping Reporter
