The Italian cloud and managed cybersecurity services provider (MSSP) ReeVo has announced the purchase of Hispasec Sistemasa Spanish company considered one of the historical companies in the cybersecurity sector in the country. Currently, Hispasec provides digital security services to more than 300 clients in Spain and Latin America.
The purchase is a step in ReeVo’s international expansion strategy, as well as in its mergers and acquisitions plan, which aims to triple the company’s turnover between now and 2030. In addition, it is its first M&A operation in Spain after its arrival, in addition to the second outside of Italy and the fifth in the last two years.
The combination of Hispasec’s assets and experience with ReeVo’s scaling capacity and technical and financial strengths will allow for strengthening the cybersecurity services that both companies offer to the market, while managing to maintain local proximity, which adds ReeVo’s European reach to its presence in different markets. Hispasec clients, thanks to this operation, will have more advanced technologies, continuity of investment in R&D, defenses driven by AI and secure and sovereign cloud options by design.
In addition, Hispasec will have the necessary confidence to scale and grow for the future, and its clients will be able to access a range of cloud services with international certifications. ReeVo, for its part, will incorporate advanced cybersecurity consulting services.
