For now, as of today (December 2, 2025), still no date announced. The series is expected to enter production in the next few weeks. There is a strong chance that it will not happen not before mid 2027see fin 2027 on the platform.
When will filming start?
Here again, for the moment (December 2, 2025), not official announcement. On the other hand, the first rumors from the corridors suggest a start of filming for the first quarter of 2026. Obviously, the casting would have started with the first names of actors. The filming should take place in Italy.

The series should be “a high-octane thriller centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions”.

Furthermore, the specific features that made the game so charming, such as the parkour, the staging, and the human connections will of course not be forgotten: “Beneath the scope, spectacle, parkour and thrills lies the basis of the most essential kind of human story – that of people searching for purpose, grappling with questions of identity, destiny and faith. It’s about power, violence, sex, greed and revenge. But more than anything, it is a series that speaks about the value of human connections, beyond cultures and times. And what we stand to lose as a species when these bonds break ».
Who is responsible for producing the series?
Ubisoft and Netflix produce together this LIVE Action series. The involvement of Ubisoft teams will make it possible to keep the soul of video games to best transcribe it in series. At the moment we know that Roberto Patino (DMZ, Westworld, Sons of Anarchy) and David Wiener (Halo, Homecoming, The Killing) will be the producers and directors of the project.
Do you have to have played the Assassin’s Creed games to watch and understand the series?

The cast of the LIVE Action series Assassin’s Creed begins to reveal itself. While we still don’t know when filming will officially begin, two new names are being added to the cast. The actor Zachary Hart will therefore be in the casting for a secret roleas well as the actress Lola Petticrew (recently seen in Say Nothing). With Toby Wallaceso this makes already three people for the casting of this Assassin’s Creed series with three secret characters. We still don’t know who will play the main role.
As of today (December 2, 2025) only a name was confirmed by Ubisoft and Netflix: Toby Wallace. The latter will play a character, currently unknown. This actor was noticed in several productions such as Eden or Last Days. No further information on the rest of the cast.
