TL;DR

  • ReMarkable has refreshed its planning templates for all devices ahead of 2026.
  • The company is offering $70 off all reMarkable 2 bundles from January 4 through 17.
  • The discount matches reMarkable’s Black Friday deal, and has some users speculating about a new launch.

ReMarkable is kicking off 2026 with users’ best intentions in mind, releasing updated planning templates for all reMarkable devices. The refresh includes new calendars, weekly planners, and to-do layouts, or in other words, everything you need to write down and attempt to keep your resolutions. As always, the updates align with reMarkable’s distraction-free, focused philosophy, which may appeal to anyone hoping this is the year their planning system actually sticks.

Remarkable New Year Promotion

Alongside the refresh, reMarkable is also making it cheaper to commit to a new tablet. From January 4 through January 17, the company is offering $70 off all reMarkable 2 bundles, including both new and refurbished tablets paired with a Marker or Marker Plus and a folio. The deal is available through reMarkable’s website and select retailers.

If the discount sounds familiar, it’s because it matches what reMarkable offered during Black Friday. Instead of holiday shopping pressure this time, the sale lands squarely in resolution season. ReMarkable says the combination of updated planning tools and a lower entry price is meant to make the brand’s toolkit more accessible to users.

Notably, details of the sale circulated via an official reMarkable email, even though the discount doesn’t begin until January 4. The early outreach has raised some eyebrows, particularly given just how old the reMarkable 2 is. As usual, speculation includes some users wondering whether there is new hardware headed our way. For now, reMarkable hasn’t indicated anything beyond a January promotion, but the early messaging is enough to get the rumor mill spinning.
