Xemelgo, a Seattle-based startup that sells RFID tracking sensors for inventory management, raised fresh cash from Zebra Ventures, the corporate VC arm of publicly traded logistics giant Zebra Technologies.

  • The company did not disclose the funding amount but a recent SEC filing in June shows $1.5 million raised.
  • Founded in 2018, Xemelgo has customers in auto manufacturing, clothing retail stores, boat production facilities, and more. It hit record revenue for the month of June and in Q2 of this year.
  • Xemelgo was co-founded in 2018 by former Hitachi executives Rich Rogers and Akhila Tadinada. The company has raised $8.2 million to date and has 28 employees.
