The Samsung Galaxy S26 series has shown up in early leaks, offering an initial look at what’s coming next from Samsung’s flagship lineup. The company is expected to stick to its three-phone setup again – Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra – with upgrades mainly centred around the display, design, and charging. Samsung Galaxy S26 Launch Timeline (Expected)
According to South Korean outlet Monday Today, Samsung is planning its next Galaxy Unpacked event for February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. If accurate, the India launch and sales should follow soon after, similar to previous Galaxy S launches. Samsung hasn’t confirmed the date yet, but the timeline fits the company’s usual January–February cycle. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Features (Expected)
New OLED Display
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumoured to use a newer M14 OLED panel that should be brighter and more power-efficient than the current generation. Samsung is also said to be using a thinner display structure, which could help make the phone slightly slimmer than before.
Privacy Display Feature
One of the new features tipped for the lineup is a privacy screen mode. The feature, seen in early leaks, may restrict viewing angles to prevent others from seeing the screen when sensitive apps are open. Users could also set custom triggers or enable a stricter mode manually.
Revised Camera Design
Samsung may change the camera layout on the Ultra model. Instead of individual camera rings, all cameras may sit on one platform at the back. The corners and sides are also expected to be slightly more rounded for a cleaner look.
Thinner Build, Faster Charging
Even with upgrades, the Ultra model may shrink slightly – around 0.4mm thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, according to reports. Charging speeds may also see an improvement, with support for 60W wired charging expected on at least the top-end model. True Qi2 wireless charging support is also expected, allowing magnetic chargers without a case.
Camera and Processor
Camera changes appear modest, but leaks mention a larger sensor or wider aperture to help in low light. The phone may ship with Exynos 2600 in select markets and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 elsewhere.
More leaks are expected in the coming months as Samsung moves closer to the launch window.
