Though Samsung’s most anticipated launches of the year are already behind us, the company isn’t done yet. After weeks of leaks and speculation, the Galaxy Buds3 FE are finally here.

Samsung announced the Galaxy Buds3 FE as its latest affordable earbuds

As announced via a press release, Samsung introduced its newest addition to the Galaxy Buds lineup today, the Galaxy Buds3 FE. If you aren’t familiar with the FE series, it’s the Korea-based giant’s “Fan Edition” line, where the company takes some of the best features from its premium devices and repackages them into a more affordable product. The Galaxy Buds3 FE is no exception, and might just be the best value yet in Samsung’s earbuds lineup.

Starting at $149.99, the Galaxy Buds3 FE feature an “iconic blade design” with a matte dual-tone finish and are built with a larger speaker compared to their predecessors.

With most affordable earbuds, you’ll notice one thing: they skip features that most users would want, like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Take Apple’s AirPods 4, for example. Though there’s a higher-tier model available with ANC, the standard budget-friendly model comes without noise cancellation for $129. Instead of taking the same route, Samsung has once again kept ANC in its Fan Edition lineup, which is enabled by default and can be configured through your device’s settings or the Galaxy Wearable app.

The Buds3 FE also use Crystal Clear Cell technology, powered by an “advanced pre-trained machine learning model to isolate your voice.” This way, you can take calls without worrying about background chatter drowning you out, whether you’re in a café, commuting, or working in a noisy environment.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE Bring AI Features You’ll Actually Use

Of course, a device announced in 2025 without AI features built-in would feel incomplete. That’s why Samsung is bundling Galaxy AI smarts into the Buds3 FE, which integrate seamlessly with Galaxy AI capabilities on Galaxy devices. For instance, if you’re traveling and having a conversation with a foreigner, you can use the earbuds with the Galaxy AI Interpreter app to translate the conversation.

You can also use the “Hey Google” command to ask questions, control playback, check your daily agenda or email, and more. Given that earbuds are extremely easy to misplace, the Buds3 FE thankfully also integrate with the Find My Earbuds feature, letting you quickly locate them from your phone.

Samsung claims that the Buds3 FE can provide up to 6 hours of music time with ANC enabled, and 24 hours total with the charging case. With ANC disabled, the number jumps to 8.5 hours of music time and 30 hours total with the case. The Galaxy Buds3 FE will be available in the U.S. starting September 4, 2025, in two colors: Black and Gray. You can also opt for the trade-in program, where you can receive up to $30 off your purchase by trading in a wired or wireless headset.
