Although the monochrome LCD screen isn’t the slickest, it still delivers tons of useful information, and the unit supports voice control through Alexa and Google Assistant. This affordable unit gets even more so with a 33% discount, so if you’re setting up a smart home on a budget it’ll hit the spot. In our review of the GE Cync Smart Thermostat, we noted that it was a breeze to install and played nice with both Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Assistant voice controls, as well as featuring a data-packed screen that provides all sorts of metrics on the health and efficiency of your heating and cooling. Remote sensors are sold separately, so keep that in mind if you have a large home or one with insulation issues.
