Supernatural, the hit monster-hunting show that ran on the WB and then later on the CW for 15 seasons, has been a reliable Netflix mainstay for more than a decade. The show has been available to stream on Netflix since 2012, making it one of the most consistent series available there for over a decade, with new seasons added to the platform shortly after they aired on the CW. When the series ended its run on network TV, Netflix’s licensing agreement gave it the rights to host all 15 seasons for a period of five years from the date of the show’s final season.

The final episode of Supernatural, which starred Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester, siblings who are paranormal investigators and demon hunters, aired on Nov. 19, 2020. This means those five years are up and the show has officially left the platform. You know how sometimes you take things for granted without even realizing it? Supernatural on Netflix is one of those instances when you don’t truly appreciate what you have until it’s taken away.

The news isn’t all bad, though. Supernatural won’t be off streaming for long. You’ll be able to watch all 15 seasons on Peacock starting next week, as the series will start streaming there on Dec. 22.

If you don’t subscribe to Peacock, or just want to own the series outright so you don’t have to worry about it jumping from platform to platform, the show is also available to purchase on Prime Video for $0.48 an episode or $8 a season, and on Apple TV and Fandango Now, where prices range from $10 to $25 a season.

While there is no deal available at the moment for Peacock, we encourage you to stay on the lookout for streaming deals which do pop up occasionally. However, there are other ways to get Peacock Premium at no — or low — cost if you’re savvy.
