Synology has expanded its family of Nas Diskstation with two new models: the DS1825+ and the DS1525+. Both storage solutions are designed for professionals and SMEs with advanced data management needs. Both incorporate a double 2.5gbe port for advanced connectivity.
The DES1525+ Diskstation can be updated to 10GBE through the E10G22-T1-MINI module, while the Synology Diskstation DS1825+ integrates a PCIE 3.0 slot compatible with 10GBASE-T or 25GBE SFP28 cards. The two offer two M.2 slots to configure a cache completely in flash, or a storage group for high -performance work loads,
In tests carried out by Synology, the DS1525+ reached a speed of 1,181 mb/s of sequential reading, and 1,180 MB/s of writingwhile the DS1825+ reached the 2,239 mb/s reading and 1,573 mb/s of writing With SSD storage units.
The two systems allow connecting a maximum of two DX525 expansion units (5 bays each). This makes the total capacity of the devices increase up to 15 bays and 300 brutes For the DS1525+, and even 18 bays and 360 tb gross In the case of DS1825+.
Both models require discs compatible with the Diskstation Manager (DSM) management platform, and have undergone more than 7,000 hours of tests. Synology also offers a validation program for third -party disc manufacturers with the same standards.
