Workforce intelligence and user behavior analytics leader Teramind Inc. today announced the launch of its AI Governance platform, a platform that provides behavioral oversight to artificial intelligence agents and tools for workforces.
As AI agents and tools begin to take actions alongside employees, almost as if they are part of the team, it’s becoming increasingly important to treat them with intensified scrutiny. According to Teramind’s own Internal Research Team, more than 80% of workers now use unapproved AI tools on the job, one-third have shared proprietary data with unsanctioned services, and 49% actively hide their AI use from information technology teams.
“This isn’t a technology gap — it’s a governance gap,” said Isaac Kohen, chief product officer at Teramind. “The answer isn’t less AI. It’s governed AI.”
Worker access to AI rose 50% in 2025 alone, according to a report from Deloitte Global and 23% of organizations already deploy autonomous agentic systems, according to a report from McKinsey Insights.
To meet this rising demand, Teramind built a solution that doesn’t require any additional infrastructure. It uses what the company already has and provides instant visibility into what’s happening on the AI layer: capturing prompts, responses and autonomous behavior from ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and harder to see shadow AI tools.
The company said its platform can see and log anything, including what any AI tool or agent does by using text capture, screen recording, optical character recognition and full transcripts of agentic activity.
The idea is to catch companies up with a full 360-view of their risk profile when it comes to the AI tools that they know about and shine a light on the tools that they don’t.
According to the company’s Insider Risk Management Team, AI-associated breaches and leaks now cost more than $650,000 per incident. A rough estimate that doesn’t fully address the nature of how damaging the scale of potential exposure of sensitive information can get or what a rogue AI can do within company boundaries.
Closing its own gap, Teramind stressed that its own AI system produces automatic audit trails meeting regulatory standards for FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, EU AI Act and HIPAA, among others.
