In cooperation with the Austrian Frauscher boatyard, Porsche has already put two electric boats on the water that house the (electric) drive technology of the SUV Macan Turbo. In addition to the open version (Fantom Air), there has also been a runabout version with a closed foredeck and cabin since the end of 2024. This Fantom 850 version offers space for up to seven passengers (the open version for a maximum of nine) and accelerates up to 90 km/h. According to Porsche, the range should be around 100 kilometers (when driving slowly).

Like the “Air” version, the Fantom 850 is initially limited to 25 copies in the “First Edition”. There is no information about the price. However, the Fantom Air presented in 2022 offers a clue: it started at 561,700 euros.

Do you regularly get annoyed that your best ideas come to you in the most impossible situations? With this pen-shaped audio recorder you now have a way to remedy the situation. The pen has an integrated microphone for recordings that can be started and stopped quickly and easily with one-click operation.

In order to then write down the ideas, the audio files can be transferred to the AI-based Sembly app. The 32 GB built-in memory is enough for several hours of recording. According to the manufacturer, the battery lasts up to 129 hours. If it is empty, the pen can easily be charged via USB. As Philips emphasizes, the device is also very suitable for “sensitive situations in which a normal audio recorder would be too noticeable”. The stealth pen is available from around 80 euros.

If you’ve been holding off on putting a racing simulator in your villa primarily for style reasons, this designer piece could be just the thing for you. The Prodrive Racing Simulator combines a minimalist look with high-quality technology and fine materials.

Formula 1-style racing seat, pedals and steering wheel (as well as the associated technology) are embedded in a carbon monoquoque. There is also a simulator PC with 16 GB RAM and 12 GB Nvidia GPU, headphones from Bang & Olufsen and a 49-inch curved 32:9 monitor from AOC. However, this also has its price, namely 49,000 British pounds (around 57,500 euros).

In 1983, Audio-Technica made a statement with the Sound Burger – a portable record player. For the 40th anniversary of the Walkman for records, the manufacturer revived its cult product in a limited edition. The 7,000 copies produced were gone so quickly that the Japanese decided to include the Sound Burger as standard in their portfolio again.

The modernized Sound Burger features a USB-C port for charging, integrates via Bluetooth, and plays vinyl LPs and singles at 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. Alternatively, the Sound Burger can also be connected to a system or speaker system via cable. The price is 229 euros.

If you like automobile classics but don’t feel like committing various deadly environmental sins, you should take a look at the Zero Labs portfolio. The Californian company specializes in marrying old iron with the latest technology. In particular, lovers of classic Land Rover models will find electric happiness here.

In addition to a complete conversion of the drive train to electric, the interior of the off-road legends is also being completely redesigned. Of course, this has its price: you should have at least $185,000 on hand for such an environmentally friendly SUV classic. The company is also happy to take care of individual special automotive requests.

With Numi 2.0, the US manufacturer Kohler claims to have the most intelligent toilet in the world on offer. It has a heated seat, integrated speakers, an ambient lighting system and even comes with Alexa support. In addition, the smart toilet also takes water efficiency to a new level.

Numi was first presented at CES 2019. The high-tech toilet is now also available – the price for a Numi 2.0 is around $13,000.

This thing, which looks like it came straight from the lovemaking night of a space shuttle and an Airstream trailer, is a high-tech mobile home for up to two people. Thanks to solar, wind energy and the intelligent storage of rainwater, you don’t have to do without anything inside the Ecocapsule: a toilet with shower is on board as well as a fully equipped kitchenette and a bed. Even Hollywood stars appreciate this:

A completely self-sufficient life in wild nature is just as possible as the “Granny Flat on a Skyscraper Roof” project. The mobile home is available in different versions – prices start at 55,000 euros.
