Prime Day is back for another year, and if you’re a Prime subscriber looking for a deal on a new wireless speaker, the Sonos Era 100 has had another discount.
Original priced at £249 when it first launched, it’s since had an official price cut down to £199. This Prime Day deal reduces it further, bringing the wireless speaker down to £170.
In the US, it’s $179, down from $199 with a $20 saving this sale period.
That’s a lower price than it was when it was on sale both during Black Friday 2024 and earlier this year when it was £179. In fact, it’s one of the lowest prices we’ve seen for the Era 100 in quite some time.

It’s been over two years since we first reviewed the Era 100 (how time flies), and we gave the speaker 4.5 stars. It’s a compact-sized speaker that produces and powerful and weighty sound that spreads into a room for a wider sweet spot. You don’t need to sit in front of the speaker to enjoy the best sound.
Where previous Sonos speakers offered a clear, sharper sound in the mids and highs; the Era 100 impresses with its bass performance.
The Era 100 is more accessible than Sonos’ older speakers with its support for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming. Press a button on the back of the speaker to enable Bluetooth, and you won’t have to worry about giving up your Wi-Fi password if someone else wants to play music on the speaker.
There’s the option of voice control either through Sonos Voice Control or Amazon Alexa. If you’re not interested in using either, there’s a switch around the back that turns the microphone off completely so that it’s not always listening for your commands.
Quick Tune Trueplay makes it easier to optimise the speaker’s sound whether you’re using Android or iOS device to control the speaker; and if you’ve got other Sonos speakers in the home, you can link the Era 100 with them to create a sound system that works across multiple speakers and rooms.
