It features triple-channel recording thanks to front, rear and interior cameras, all of which capture high-quality footage. The 4K specification is boosted thanks to front and rear Sony IMX678 Starvis 2 sensors that can capture license plate details and road signs with ease, while also working very effectively in low light or darkness. The 70mai engineers have clearly focused on improving the HDR for all three channels, and there’s a special ‘Night Owl Vision’ feature that really tackles those after-dark tasks.
Adding to the appeal of the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam is the range of smart features, which include a smart parking mode and Guardian mode. Once the bundle has been hard-wired into a vehicle, these power tools ensure that coverage is handled 24/7.
On top of all that, the built-in GPS, ADAS and voice controls offer a high level of video management, while the super-fast transfer of high-resolution files is done quickly and seamlessly via impressive Wi-Fi connectivity and a great 70mai app. It’s easily up there alongside some of the best dash cams in the business.

What I liked about the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam
This dash cam bundle offers a complete solution in one simple package
If you’re like me and want to cover all bases after past incidents in the car, the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam is one of the best options out there. It offers three-channel coverage — front, rear, and interior — making it a true one-stop surveillance solution. Even the interior camera records in 1080p, and when combined with the 4K footage from the front and rear cameras, the results are seriously impressive. I’ve also been blown away by the low-light video quality. The combination of the Sony Starvis sensor and Night Owl Vision makes this dash cam especially effective during the darker winter months.
Adding to the value of this premium package are the smart parking and guardian modes, which provide full-time protection. Granted, the 70mai 4K T800 needs to be hardwired into your vehicle to take advantage of these features, but it’s well worth picking up the installation kit for more complete coverage. And, even though this model captures big and beefy video files, everything was very easily managed thanks to Wi-Fi 6 support and a brilliant 70mai app that makes light work of file management tasks.
What I didn’t like about the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam
There’s a premium price tag, but for good reason
While I think the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam is, without a doubt, one of the best models money can buy currently, the high price tag could be a hurdle for some customers on a budget. However, 70mai does offer cheaper alternatives, some of which offer many of the same features and functions. I guess not everyone wants to hard-wire a dash cam into their vehicle either, but if you can run to adding the installation kit and setting it up, the effort is certainly worth it.
Naturally, with two main cameras to plumb in, I did find there was quite a lot of wiring to feed behind trim panels and fix into place. However, 70mai supplies everything needed to complete this task inside the box and, overall, I still managed to get it all looking neat and tidy in under thirty minutes.
Should you buy the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam?
The perfect model for anyone seeking peace of mind
I’d say that anyone who wants a bundle that goes the extra mile should invest in the 70mai 4K T800 Dash Cam. It really is a complete solution thanks to the three-channel recording, which is in turn backed up by excellent high-resolution recording. This is an easy-to-configure model, which is boosted by the excellent app. Sure, there are large video files generated by those potent cameras, but managing content was a breeze thanks to the fast wireless transfer and clever power tools found inside the app.
I’d also add that the additional parking monitoring features are some of the best in the business, so anyone who is happy to have a permanent installation of this bundle using a hard-wire kit will never look back. It might have a premium price tag, but the quality of the design and build is also clear to see. I definitely think it’s my current pick of the dash cam crop.
