Season 3 of Squid Game Landed today on Netflix and many of you have waited for the weekend to throw yourself on it. A particularly successful season, unlike a second batch which had frustrated us on many plans, and which had kept several surprises in reserve.

The most surprising here is not the discovery that the game continues, but the identity of the recruiter at the DDAKJI, or rather the recruiter. This is the Oscar -winning actress Cate Blanchett ! Not the first surprise cameo
Nevertheless, if the presence of a star like Cate Blanchett remains completely unexpected, this is not the first time that the series has made us blow the cameo at the end of the season. So obviously, far from us the idea of comparing the filmography of the two actors, but the guiding idea remains the same: to place a face immediately identifiable by the spectator for the final. Whether here, Cate Blanchett precisely underlines this world reputation acquired by Squid Game over time and budget more substantial. To see if this will only remain just cameo or not … but we can assume that Netflix has already thought about the question.

We can therefore imagine that this sequence intends to serve as a bridge between the two series and that Cate will be one of the central characters.
