TL;DR: Digitize old film and slides at home with the Kodak Slide N Scan for $149.99 (MSRP $189.99) and preserve photos before they degrade.

Digitizing older film and slides has become a priority for many households as physical media continues to degrade over time. The Kodak Slide N Scan is designed to simplify that process by converting negatives and slides into digital files without requiring external services.

The device supports multiple formats, including 35mm, 110, and 126 film, covering a wide range of legacy media types. A 14MP sensor, with up to 22MP interpolated resolution, captures images with improved clarity, while built-in controls allow users to adjust color, brightness, and orientation during scanning.

A key feature is the integrated 5-inch LCD display, which provides immediate feedback. Users can preview and edit images directly on the device before saving them to an SD card (not included). This reduces the need for additional software during the initial scanning process.

The scanner is designed for efficiency, with a quick-loading tray system that allows continuous scanning of multiple slides or negatives. Connectivity options, including USB and HDMI, enable users to transfer or display images on external devices.

Turn your physical photo collections into digital archives.
