By analyzing thousands of ear models, Sennheiser and Sonova have created an ergonomic shape that should provide an ideal balance between stability, comfort and aesthetics for a maximum of ear morphologies. The headphones, available in black or white, can be pre-ordered for €199.90.
Headphones that have ears
« Comfort and fit are crucial for excellent sound quality and comfort », explains Friederike Menking, product manager at Sennheiser. “ After studying more than a thousand ear profiles, we designed the Accemtum True Wireless, a product with a careful design that is forgotten once worn. ».
In addition to this unusual design, the Accentum headphones contain technologies well known to fans of the brand, such as active noise cancellation (ANC), a transparency mode, multipoint Bluetooth, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE audio, as well as support for Auracast technology.
They are equipped with Sennheiser’s 7mm TrueResponse drivers, which deliver powerful bass, natural mids and clear highs. The brand also promises effective reduction of low-frequency noise, including aircraft cabin noise, using beam-forming microphones.
The Sennheiser Smart Control app allows users to fully customize their listening experience, from managing touch controls to adjusting the equalizer. This app also offers the possibility of creating a personalized sound profile through a feature called Sound Check.
In addition to battery life of up to eight hours per charge, the headphones come with a case that supports wireless charging and provides up to 28 hours of additional listening time. Fast charging via a USB-C cable allows you to get an hour of use with just ten minutes of charging.
Sennheiser’s Accentum range, which also includes the Accentum Wireless and Accentum Plus headphones, is designed to bring premium features at cheaper prices. Although they share many features with the premium Momentum line, Accentum products are distinguished by lower prices and less luxurious materials, without sacrificing performance.
