The American import of Black Friday has well and truly seeped into UK culture, but there are no complaints here if it offers up excuses to snag some incredible tech deals. With all the discounts flying around, it can be tough to separate the genuinely good gifts from the mere price rhetoric. We’ve done the hard work for you, diving into the deals to find the top UK Black Friday picks for 2025. Here are some must-have gadgets perfect for the tech lover in your life.

Most giftable smartphone of 2025: TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra

TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra Lunar White & Nebula Black

Struggling to find a gift that truly stands out and cares for your loved ones? Meet TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra — the most comprehensive eye-care phone ever. Powered by NXTPAPER 4.0 technology, the stunning 7.2-inch display features eye-care technologies certified by TÜV and SGS, ensuring unparalleled eye comfort.

Adopting Circular Polarized Light and reflection-free and anti-glare technology, it mimics natural light for crystal-clear and strain-free viewing, even in bright environments. With blue light reduced to just 3.41% and adaptive color temperature and brightness, this device ensures effortless viewing day and night, significantly reducing digital eye strain.

Beyond its exceptional eye comfort, you can enjoy distraction-free Max Ink Mode for immersive reading, enhanced by AI tools, and a low-latency electromagnetic stylus T-pen Magic for an unmatched writing experience.

It features a periscopic telephoto camera with full focal length shooting and dual OIS cameras for motion capture and steady shots, which is incredibly rare in this price range. The cherry on top is its self-developed MuseFilm camera technology, which seamlessly blends advanced camera performance with artistic expression, turning every shot into a work of art.

With advanced processors, 24GB RAM, IP68 resistance, up to 512GB storage, and fast charging, it combines eye care and reliable performance for a fast-paced life.

During the Black Friday period, enjoy up to 12% off on the base model TCL NXTPAPER 60 Ultra on Amazon. If you want to step up to the 512GB model and bundle it with the flip cover and stylus, don’t miss the limited-time offer to enjoy up to 10% off.

Most giftable smartwatch of 2025: Google Pixel Watch 3

With the Pixel Watch 4 now available, the Pixel Watch 3 has dropped into a sweet spot where the hardware still feels current, the software experience is very similar, and the price suddenly becomes very hard to ignore. At its best Amazon price so far of £199, it’s an easy pick for anyone after a capable Wear OS watch without the flagship asking price.

Google’s third-gen model was the one that finally pulled the series together. It introduced a second case size, trimming the bezels and giving the larger option the screen real estate it always needed. The AMOLED-LTPO display is bright and crisp, and Wear OS 5 runs smoothly here without the sluggishness that plagued earlier models.

Battery life is the other big win. Multi-day use is now realistic, so you’re not tied to a charger every 24 hours. Health and fitness tracking also matured a lot on this version, with heart-rate accuracy that rivals chest straps and a solid set of running metrics. GPS accuracy could be better, but for casual training, it’s still a solid Black Friday pick.

Most giftable earbuds of 2025: Sony WF-1000XM5

Sony’s WF-1000XM5 earbuds are still very much in the top tier for noise canceling, and this drop to £179 makes them a far easier recommendation than at full price. They sit in the same heavyweight crowd as Apple and Bose, but bring some very handy extras for Android listeners in particular.

The buds themselves are smaller and lighter than the XM4s, with softer, more flexible foam tips and an extra-small size in the box. That fixes one of the big comfort complaints from the previous generation and makes it much easier to get a secure seal, which also helps the ANC do its thing. Noise canceling is on point, cutting a big chunk of low-frequency rumble and background chatter, so they’re ideal for commutes and open-plan offices.

Battery life is solid too, with around nine hours of playback from the buds and roughly a day in total with the case. You also get Bluetooth 5.3, LDAC support, multipoint, Qi wireless charging, and Sony’s very full-featured Headphones Connect app.  At this price, they’re a very compelling all-round pair of ANC earbuds.

Cut out all the noise, keep all the fidelity.

The Sony WF-1000XM5 have even better noise canceling than the WF-1000XM4. Sony made these its most comfortable earbuds by shrinking them and including XS-L memory foam ear tips. The WF-1000XM5 support advanced features like multipoint connectivity and spatial audio with head tracking. You also get plenty of customization options through the free mobile app.

Most giftable power bank of 2025: Anker Laptop Power Bank

Anker Laptop Power Bank 25,000mAh 165W3

This is one of those power banks that immediately feels more useful than the average phone charger brick. Anker has packed a 25,000mAh cell inside, but the real draw is the I/O: three USB-C ports that can each push up to 100W, plus a USB-A for anything older you still rely on. That means you can top up a MacBook, a tablet, and your phone at the same time without watching the speeds crawl.

The built-in cables are a genuinely handy touch. One extends out to around 2.3 feet, so you don’t have to dig around for cords on a train or plane, while the shorter one doubles as a carry strap. Both are reinforced to withstand a remarkably high number of bends and retractions. It also recharges at 100W, so filling a battery this size doesn’t take all afternoon.

As a nice extra touch, it stays within airline rules as long as it goes in your carry-on. And if you’re constantly juggling multiple devices, being able to plug in up to four at once makes it feel more like a mini charging station than a typical travel bank.

Most giftable fitness tracker of 2025: Fitbit Charge 6

The Charge line has always been Fitbit’s safe bet, and at £88, the Charge 6 is an obvious pick. It keeps the slim, lightweight form factor that people actually want from a tracker, but layers in some of the smarter Google touches that make it feel more capable than the basic bands you see everywhere.

The display is crisp and bright, and the return of a physical button makes the UI far less fiddly than the Charge 5 ever was. All sport modes now live on the device instead of just a handful, and the upgraded heart rate sensor is a substantial improvement. In day-to-day use, heart rate accuracy is genuinely solid — especially compared to other band-style trackers — and you still get ECG, skin temperature tracking, SpO₂, and stress tools. Battery life is also impressive, easily lasting multiple days, even with heavier use.

The Charge 6 leans more into Google’s ecosystem, with optional Google Wallet, YouTube Music controls, and turn-by-turn prompts from Google Maps. It’s not a smartwatch replacement, but those small touches do make it feel more modern. It’s been around for a while now, but at this Black Friday price, it’s a very solid buy.

When it comes to fitness trackers, the Fitbit Charge 6 is now the best product in the company’s portfolio. To get anything better, you’d need to jump up to the Pixel Watch 3, which is a dedicated smartwatch. The Charge 6 has a full-color display, 40 exercise modes, and the most advanced heart-rate tracker Fitbit offers.

Most giftable Bluetooth speaker of 2025: Beats Pill

Beats hadn’t put out a new Pill in almost a decade, so this refreshed 2025 model that’s already getting a Black Friday discount is a nice win. It’s over £50 off, small enough to throw in a bag, and loud enough for a kitchen, balcony, or small gathering. It’s also rugged enough to withstand the rigors of everyday life, thanks to its full IP67 dust and water resistance.

Our sister site, SoundGuys, included it in their Best Bluetooth speakers of 2025 roundup, mainly because it delivers surprising bass output for something this size. It tilts slightly upwards on a desk, which helps in home-office use, and at low-to-moderate volumes, it sounds clean and balanced enough for everyday listening. Battery life is a big selling point too: Beats claims 24 hours at 50% volume, which is roughly double what some rival mini speakers manage.

It also plays nicely with both Android and iOS, offering fast pairing, stereo pairing with a second Pill, and even USB-C lossless playback if you want to plug in. There’s a built-in mic for calls, onboard controls, and a sturdy build that feels made for travel. You’re buying this for portability, not to DJ a full house party, but at £89 it’s a very solid all-rounder and one of the better compact speakers to buy right now.

Most giftable tablet of 2025: Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus

This Samsung budget slate is one of the safest Black Friday picks for anyone who just wants a reliable, affordable tablet for streaming, browsing, recipes, or light gaming. At £154.99, it’s even easier to justify — especially given how much hardware you get for the money.

The 11-inch display is the first thing you notice. It’s larger than most tablets in this price bracket, and the 90Hz refresh rate makes everyday use noticeably smoother, whether you’re scrolling through apps or watching videos. The quad-speaker setup is also better than you’d expect at this level, with Dolby Atmos support and clean output at higher volumes. Samsung has kept the headphone jack, too, which is increasingly rare but genuinely useful.

Performance is handled by a Snapdragon 695, and for casual tasks, it keeps things moving without drama. There’s enough RAM and storage for normal multitasking, and battery life is strong — a few days on light use isn’t unrealistic. Charging is slow at 15W, so it’s more of an overnight top-up device than something you quickly juice before heading out. Cameras are basic, and there’s no S Pen support, but that’s not really what this tablet is for. For under £160, the Tab A9 Plus is simply a dependable all-rounder that nails the “sofa tablet” experience.
