TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 is out today as the newest test release of this OpenZFS+Linux-based operating system for network attached storage (NAS) hardware and other storage devices.
TrueNAS 25.10 this cycle has been working on installation improvements, NVIDIA Blackwell support, 400 GbE networking, performance improvements, and a variety of other improvements.
With TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 there is now the ability to import and export virtual disk images within the virtualization system, NVMe-over-Fabric “NVMe-oF” fixes, web UI fixes, and a variety of other updates over prior versions. TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 also further improves the OpenZFS zfs rewrite capabilities, a new optinal web-driven installation means, and other alterations.
