Chinese robotics company Unitree Robotics has partnered with NetEase’s martial arts MMORPG Justice Online Mobile to explore two-way integration between robotics and virtual environments. The collaboration will use the game’s world as a “digital proving ground” for Unitree’s robots, allowing user feedback to inform product development while enhancing in-game motion performance. Unitree’s robots will also assist with motion capture to improve realism and reduce injury risks during complex action scenes. [TechNode reporting]
