British tech brand Nothing is one of the most exciting alternatives to major smartphone manufacturers, with uniquely designed Android phones at affordable prices. Now, the brand has confirmed it’s making it easier to buy its next phone in the United States.

In a conversation with News, Nothing’s CEO confirms the phone will go on sale in the US through Amazon and its own website.

“We have always said we are building for the long term, and now we’re ready to take that next step in the US,” says Nothing CEO Carl Pei. “Phone (3) is not just another launch. It is a signal of where we are as a company. The smartphone market in the US is dominated by two players, but a lot of people are hungry for something different.”

Previous Nothing phones have gone on sale in the US, but they required a complicated process compared to buying an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy. The Nothing Phone (2) was sold in the US in a limited capacity.

Since then, releases from the brand have been available in the US through the company’s beta program, but that meant no after-sales support.

Pei said, “We have already seen strong conversion rates from users switching to Nothing, and with Phone (3), we are going after that opportunity in a much more focused way. This is the right product, and the right moment, to start scaling in North America.”

The brand also confirmed the new phone will work with AT&T and T-Mobile with 4G and 5G support included. There’s no word on Verizon support, which means it’s unlikely to happen. Nothing has also confirmed it will begin selling its phones through Best Buy in Canada.

Nothing has yet to reveal the price of Phone (3), but it’s expected to be somewhere around $1,100. Pei confirmed previously that the brand is aiming for an £800 price in the UK.

We expect to learn more about the Nothing Phone (3) on July 1 as the brand is hosting a launch event where it’ll also introduce its first pair of over-ear headphones.
