WatchGuard Technologydedicated to cybersecurity, has new CEO: Joe Smolarski. Until now, the position of head of the company was held provisionally by Vats Srivatasan, appointed last May, and who from now on will continue as a member of the company’s Board of Directors, advising its management on growth and strategy.
Led by Srinavasan, WatchGuard has advanced innovation, strengthened operational execution and accelerated AI adoption. In addition, at this stage the hardware and software delivery model for partners has been modernized, in addition to updating its network security portfolio.
Smolarski, who joins WatchGuard from Kaseya, has more than a quarter-century of experience in technology, operations and strategy leadership positions, and has a reputation as a results-oriented, partner-focused leader. In addition, he has led multinationals in periods of transformation, expansion and integration.
The manager will work closely with WathGuard’s management team, as well as its Board of Directors, to advance its strategy towards operational excellence and channel improvement.
