Here’s a slick price on a capable gaming laptop that ships with a brand new Nvidia 50-series graphics card. While the MSI Katana isn’t going to blow your doors off, it’s more than capable of speedy, stable framerates at QHD resolution, and the 165Hz display is crisp and colorful. Laptop shopping can be a pretty stressful affair, as prices vary widely and it’s tough to pick out whether a particular configuration is actually a good value. That’s not the case here. We reviewed a previous version of the Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 in 2022, and gave it an Editors’ Choice award for its versatile input methods, including a clear and responsive touchscreen and a solid keyboard, as well as the typically excellent build quality and battery life that Lenovo brings to the table. Here’s a solid budget laptop with good components for the price. Dell has earned their reputation for hardware that hits all of its marks without pushing the envelope, and if you need a productivity portable with a nice screen, comfortable keyboard and useful features you’ll have a hard time beating the Dell 15 for $500. With a capable 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM, it’ll tackle everyday tasks with ease, and it lasts a long time thanks to energy-efficient batteries and Express Charge technology, which can get the tank to 80% from zero in just one hour.

For an all-purpose tablet that handles productivity and entertainment with aplomb, you’re not going to find a better deal than the Galaxy Tab A9+ at $159. In our review of this slate, we praised its large 1,920-by-1,200 screen, saying that it looked great despite the large bezels on the sides. The all-plastic construction feels surprisingly luxurious and sturdy, and performance is speedy and reliable. Although the 64GB of onboard storage is a little skimpy, an included microSD slot supports up to an additional 1TB.

We haven’t had the chance to put the brand new LG C5 OLED TVs through their paces yet, but we raved about its predecessor, the C3, in our review. It got an “Outstanding” rating for its peerless color and contrast, sleek design and bevy of smart features. One of our only nitpicks about the C3 was that the brightness could have been better, and it looks like LG has addressed that with the C5’s new Brightness Booster tech, giving you better luminosity and contrast even it well-lit rooms. It’s also a great pick for gaming, with a 0.1ms response time, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for VRR through four HDMI inputs. A 45% discount is huge.
