Where to Stream All the John Wick Films

John Wick has become one of the best action franchises in recent history, eliciting many copycat movies with similar high-intensity sequences. In June, Lionsgate pushed the world of John Wick beyond Keanu Reeves with From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas.

If you’re a purist, however, you can stream all four installments (and the prequel miniseries) on Hulu right now. You can also catch some of them on live TV streaming services, or buy or rent them from platforms like Amazon and Apple TV.

Where to Watch the John Wick Films and TV Series

John Wick

Legendary assassin John Wick is forced out of retirement after tragedy strikes to unleash vengeance the only way he knows how: By killing everyone who pissed him off. Couple this with a bounty placed on Wick’s head, and you’re in for one hell of a ride. John Leguizamo, Alfie Allen, and Michael Nyqvist all bring a little piece of kickass to the table.

John Wick: Chapter  2

John Wick plans to resume his quiet retirement life—until Santino D’Antonio shows up demanding a favor the assassin cannot refuse. The job? Take out the Camorra crime syndicate’s leader, who also just happens to be D’Antonio’s sister. Nothing says “family reunion” like hiring an assassin to take out a sibling. Riccardo Scamarcio rules as the antagonist, and you can enjoy some action-heavy performances from Ruby Rose and Claudia Gerini.

John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum

In chapter 3 of Wick’s saga, he makes an egregious error—he offs a member of the High Table. Booted out of his guild and saddled with an unreal $14 million bounty on his head, Wick goes on the lam. Anjelica Huston, Asia Kate Dillon, and Halle Berry round out the cast for the third film.

John Wick: Chapter 4

In the fourth installment of the series, John Wick learns of a way to defeat the High Table. His latest adventure features a higher bounty on his head, and a new evil that will turn old friends into foes. Expect appearances from Bill Skarsgard, Donnie Yen, Scott Adkins, as well as the return of familiar favorites like Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane.

The Continental: From the World of John Wick

This prequel miniseries pulls the curtain back on Ian McChane’s character Winston Scott, and how he came into possession of The Continental hotel. Set in the 1970s, it stars Mel Gibson as the previous proprietor and Colin Woodell as a young Scott, with appearances from some familiar faces.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina

The first spin-off film for the John Wick franchise, Ballerina follows ballerina/assassin Eve Macarro as she trains to become a killer for the Ruska Roma and exacts her revenge on those who killed her father. The film stars Ana de Armas, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves. It’s also the final appearance of Lance Reddick, who passed away the month that Chapter 4 premiered.

How to Watch the World of John Wick in Order

Yes, you’d do just fine to watch all the films in number order. But then you’d miss out on all the lore of The Continental television series. And just where is Ballerina supposed to fit in the timeline? If you really want to get the full story, here’s the definitive chronological order for the franchise (for now):

Everything Still to Come

Right now, the franchise is nice and simple, but that probably won’t last. Lionsgate has doubled down on its billion-dollar baby, so expect more films to come, with several currently in development set across the universe’s timeline. The only named film at this point is Chapter 5, which was supposed to be filmed back-to-back with Chapter 4. It was officially announced in April 2025 and will see John Wick confront new threats beyond the High Table.

Other unnamed projects were announced at the same time. Donnie Yen will star, direct, and executive produce a “Hong Kong-style action thriller” that follows his Caine and Rina Sawayama’s Akira characters in the aftermath of Chapter 4. A prequel anime, starring Keanu Reeves, will take place before the first movie and finally depict how Wick left the High Table.

John Wick: Under the High Table, another television series, was also greenlit in August 2024. It will take place after Chapter 4, with new and returning characters fighting to usurp the High Table.
