Whoop’s health service is getting another new feature

Whoop is rolling out another big health update that moves it closer to becoming what it calls a “health operating system.”

The new feature, Advanced Labs Uploads, lets members upload their own blood test results directly into the Whoop app at no extra cost.

Once uploaded, you’ll be able to view your lab biomarkers, such as vitamin levels, cholesterol, and inflammation markers, all mapped against your daily metrics— sleep, recovery, and strain — in one place.

This update follows the recent US launch of Whoop Advanced Labs, the company’s clinician-reviewed bloodwork service that had a waitlist of more than 350,000 people.

Although in-person testing remains US-only for now, the Uploads feature allows members worldwide, including those in the UK, to start integrating their own lab data right away.

You can upload lab results in any language, whether it’s a PDF or screenshot, and the app will process them alongside your physiological data. The update supports 65 biomarkers and ties directly into Whoop Coach, the brand’s AI system that provides personalised insights and coaching to help interpret the results.

Whoop says this is all part of its mission to give members “a more complete picture” of their health, and not just how they’re sleeping or training, but how their internal metrics are trending over time.

In a statement, Will Ahmed, Founder and CEO of Whoop, says the update lets members “see how their biomarkers and daily behaviours connect in real time” as part of its goal to become a full “health operating system.”

The Advanced Labs Uploads feature is now available globally to all Whoop members for free. It’s a small update, but one that could make Whoop feel a lot smarter and more like the all-in-one health platform it aims to be.
