Following yesterday’s release of the bi-weekly Wine 10.15 development release, Wine-Staging 10.15 is out with 300 patches atop the upstream Wine codebase.
Wine-Staging continues to be the testing/experimental flavor of Wine. Wine-Staging 10.15 comes in at 300 patches now after some D3D11 and MSXML patches were upstreamed to Wine proper.
There is a new patch for this five year old bug report over the Direct3D 9 game MudRunner crashing during the loading screen. The Wine Staging patch improves the ID3DXAnimationController Animation set support in the D3D9 code.
There is also a patch for MSXML to add GB2312 support for the built-in character converter to help with a newer Wine bug report.
Wine Staging 10.15 also pulls in the latest VKD3D code and updates the Wine Device Default Drivers code and other patch updates.
Wine 10.15 and Wine-Staging 10.15 can both be downloaded from WineHQ.org.
