Pili was cut after the Lynx’s most recent game against Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky

That was after three impressive years with USC and two with Utah during her college days.

However, the Alaska native has just become a free agent and is searching for her next basketball team.

And the Lynx were particularly tough on her when they let her go in the middle of a road trip, forcing her to find her own way home.

Minnesota play back-to-back road games against the Chicago Sky and have been traveling for over a week.

The team went to Phoenix and then Los Angeles before their stop in Chicago.

Pili was cut after their most recent game against Angel Reese’s Sky on Saturday.

That saw the Lynx suffering an 87-81 defeat at the Wintrust Arena in Illinois.

Pili did not compete in that game, in fact her last match was against the LA Sparks on Thursday where she only played for a single minute.

The forward has only played 36 games in her WNBA career, averaging just six minutes per match.

The 5-foot-11 athlete hasn’t been able to replicate the same success she had with the University of Utah at top level.

The former All-American has only been able to average 2.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.1 blocks across her WNBA career.
