Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen Claude dramatically increase its user count at the expense of OpenAI. As more users come on board, it’s only natural that there might be some hiccups here and there. With that in mind, it seems that some users are currently reporting login issues, slower performance, and more errors than usual. I personally ran into problems where Claude was cutting off responses and throwing up errors, even though I’m well within my usage limits for a Pro account.
Not only does Claude’s official Status tool indicate there are problems and that the company is aware of it, but Down Detector continues to accumulate user issues as well. It’s unclear what the issue is behind these current problems, thoug hit could simply be a byproduct of the sudden increase in users. We’ll be sure to update the post if and when we learn more.
