Google continues to enrich the ecosystem Google TV with new AI-based tools Geminiincluding Nano Banana for image manipulation and Veo for video generation. New features are initially deployed in the United States, sometimes starting on TCL television models.
Have fun on the big screen with Nano Banana and Veo
Gemini capabilities become accessible via a tab creation. With Nano Banana, you can modify existing photos using simple voice commands.
Google gives fun examples like asking to “make my dad wear a ridiculous outfit” to generate fun family images.
With Veo, it’s the creation of video clips from a textual description or the animation of a still image. The example given is “making my grandfather moonwalk in space.”
Improvements for Google Photos on TV
L’application Google Photos also benefits from extensive integration with AI and to enjoy it on the living room screen.
With voice commands, users can ask Gemini to find specific moments in their library, like vacation or birthday photos. A page allows you to navigate among the displayed results.

Once you find a photo, Remix is used to apply artistic filters, such as watercolor or oil paint. Dynamic slideshows turn any album into an animated screensaver gallery.
Short videos appear on the home page
With the popularity of short videos, Google is preparing to integrate them directly into the Google TV home screen. A new “Short videos for you” section will appear and will offer a personalized feed of content. The beginnings will be made with the YouTube Shorts.
