Bis repetita for the historic operator. Just two days after a major national incident, Orange and Sosh subscribers reported a new network outage this Wednesday morning. Update on the situation.
Clearly, the week is turning into a nightmare for the French historic operator. While subscribers were just beginning to forget the setbacks at the start of the week, the Orange network, as well as that of its low-cost subsidiary Sosh, is going through a new zone of strong turbulence this Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Since the beginning of the morning, many users have complained of an intermittent service outage.
Fixed and mobile affected simultaneously
The alarm was sounded around 8 a.m. this morning. On the independent tracking platform Downdetectorthe curves immediately jumped to cross the mark of 600 reports in just a few minutes.
The observation is the same at ZoneFibre&ADSL with an increase in reports early in the morning on the Orange network. Unlike the national outage of Monday June 29 which mainly paralyzed 4G and 5G, this new incident seems less important, but more vicious.

Testimonies, which are pouring in on social networks like For many subscribers, for example, it has become impossible to reach a landline from a smartphone.
I’m the only one who can no longer make a call to 05 49 with orange or what’s that like?! @orange @Orange_France

For the moment, Orange management has not yet officially communicated on the exact nature of the incident or its precise geographical scope. While waiting for a return to normal, customers can monitor the status of their local line via the Orange et Moi application or on the operator’s incident tracking page. If the situation persists, consider temporarily enabling Wi-Fi calling on your smartphone or briefly switching to airplane mode to force the device to search for a stable signal.
