Alibaba Group has restructured its partnership committee, trimming nine members and adding e-commerce head Jiang Fan, according to its annual report released Thursday. The number of partners dropped from 26 to 17 in fiscal year 2025. Jiang, 39, rejoined the partner committee two years after being removed following an internal probe. Jiang now joins Alibaba founder Jack Ma and executives including CEO Wu Yongming and Chairman Joe Tsai on the committee. Departing partners include former CEO Daniel Zhang, co-founder Lucy Peng, and several business unit heads.

The reshuffle comes as Alibaba sharpens its focus on e-commerce and AI-driven growth. In fiscal 2025, revenue rose 6% to RMB 996.3 billion ($139 billion), while net income jumped 77%. Alibaba also outlined plans to invest heavily in cloud and AI infrastructure over the next three years, shifting to a new “1+2+N” structure centered on e-commerce, cloud intelligence, and other emerging businesses.
