I finally took the plunge and got a Nintendo Switch 2 for my birthday in November, and I don’t regret it one bit. I’ve already put an embarrassing number of hours into Hades 2, Pokémon Pokopia, and Pokémon Legends Z-A, while Mario Kart World has become a regular in our weekly game night rotation. Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is just around the corner, and I’m seeing some incredible deals on essentials titles to build out your Switch and Switch 2 library for less.

For example, the phenomenal The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $43 at Walmart. I can’t even begin to tell you how many hours I’ve lost exploring its vast open world, and it’s the #1 Switch game I recommend to people who just got a new console. You can also snag Switch 2 games starting at just $24 at Amazon, with several hit titles slashed to half off or more. I’d definitely pick up Sonic x Shadow Generations for $24; it’s exactly the kind of blast from the past I was looking for as a huge fan of the much-maligned Sonic Adventure games.

There are lots more deals to choose from, so scroll on for some serious savings. While you’re at it, check out our round-up of all the best deals ahead of Amazon’s big spring sale.
