ASUS ProArt is the product line that the Taiwanese manufacturer targets for the professional market. Under the series, it markets laptops, convertibles and also monitors designed especially for creatives, including spearheads such as the world’s first professional mini LED 8K HDR monitor.

The latest additions to the series are focused on improving productivity and workflows by working with Apple computers, MacBook, Mac mini and Mac Studio. To do this, the ASUS DisplayWidget Center suite for macOS provides an intuitive interface to configure monitors directly from macOS and improves color support.

Improvements to ASUS ProArt monitors for Mac

The new firmware updates offer a color accuracy up to Delta E<1 and extensive coverage of 99% of the DCI-P3 space. Likewise, the monitors, tested by prestigious external laboratories to guarantee maximum compatibility, incorporate a variable refresh rate of up to 240 Hz to offer images perfectly synchronized with those Mac devices that have Apple ProMotion technology.

Plus, built-in USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 connectivity enables ultra-fast data transfers, DisplayPort support, and up to 96W of power. Power Delivery to charge MacBooks and other devices with a single cable.

Compatibility

ASUS DisplayWidget Center software for macOS allows Easily adjust computer settingsincluding brightness, contrast and color temperature, improving the visual experience. Likewise, the app also features MacBook hotkeys to adjust the monitor’s brightness.

It also adds the new M Model P3 color mode, which synchronizes the color performance of the ProArt monitor and the connected MacBook, ensuring perfect consistency between both displays. This alignment is especially useful for color-critical tasks such as photo editing, video production, and graphic design.

Color control

Color professionals need displays with accurate color reproduction to ensure a faithful display of their creations. For this reason, Each ProArt monitor calibrates itself at the factory to meet Calman Verified standards and achieve color accuracy up to Delta E<1.

ProArt Calibration software works in both SDR and HDR modes and is compatible with macOS. Hardware calibration stores all color profiles directly on the monitor’s internal scaling chip and generates ICC profiles for a wide range of MacBook monitors and displays, ensuring consistent and reliable color performance. This software also allows you to schedule periodic calibrations on the main calibrators.

For multi-display professional environments, ProArt Color Center offers an online solution designed to manage the color accuracy of multiple ProArt monitors with hardware calibration support. This tool allows you to see the history of color adjustments, the recommended date for the next calibration, and schedule simultaneous sessions on multiple monitors, even if they use different color parameters or are in different locations.

Connectivity

ASUS ProArt monitors offer a wide variety of connectivity options, including USB-C, HDMI y DisplayPort with support for daisy chain connection. Additionally, for added convenience, they can function as a USB hub, allowing devices connected to the USB ports to access other peripherals without the need for a docking station.

Visual comfort

Each ProArt monitor features an ergonomic stand that allows you to easily adjust tilt, swivel and height. The quick release feature also makes it easy to secure the device to VESA mounts without the need for screws. ASUS includes technologies to reduce screen flicker and minimize eye fatigue, with Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies, certified by TÜV Rheinland.

Free subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud

In select regions, ASUS includes a free three-month subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and its main applications. Also to the Photography plan (Lightroom and Photoshop with 1 TB of cloud storage), Adobe Substance 3D, Adobe Stock and Acrobat Standard. The subscription is worth $803 and can be redeemed until August 31, 2026 on this website.
