Motorola launches 8 new smartphones for all budgets

Motorola today presents eight new smartphone models ranging from entry-level with the g series to high-end with new Razr folding models, as well as a new “Brilliant” collection. All products will be available next May and June, at prices ranging from €229 to €1499.

New models of the Motorola g series

Motorola is enriching its g range with four new smartphones: the Moto g37, g37 Power, g47 and g87.

Motorola g37

The Moto g37 has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, a 50 Mpx main photo sensor and a 5,200 mAh battery compatible with 20 W TurboPower charging.

On the processor side, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and runs on Android 16. Regarding resistance, it is IP64 certified. The smartphone is available in three colors: black, blue, and fuchsia.

Moto g37 Power

The Moto g37 Power has exactly the same characteristics as the “classic” g37, except for the battery. Indeed, this Power model has a larger battery capacity with 7000 mAh. That’s not all, the smartphone also has higher charging power with 30 W TurboPower charging. It also weighs a little heavier, 215 g compared to 191 g for the classic Moto g37.

Motorola g47

The Moto g47 also has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ screen at 120 Hz. It stands out with a 108 Mpx main sensor and an 8 Mpx selfie sensor. It has a 5200 mAh battery with 20 W TurboPower charging.

On the processor side, it is also equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and Android 16. On the resistance side, it is IP64 certified. The smartphone is available in three colors: black, blue, fuchsia.

Motorola g87

The Moto g87 moves upmarket with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen announced as very bright with a peak at 5000 nits. It integrates a 200 Mpx main sensor, an 8 Mpx ultra-wide-angle and a 32 Mpx selfie sensor.

Certified IP66, IP68 and IP69, it works with MediaTek Dimensity 6400 under Android 16 and has a 5200 mAh battery with 30 W TurboPower charging. The smartphone is available in two colors: atoll blue and black.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro introduces a new design approach called “Collections by Motorola” which brings together models designed with new materials and finishes. This smartphone is made from 74% recycled metals and 100% recycled aluminum for its chassis.

With 7.19 mm thickness and 190 g, it aims to be the thinnest and lightest in its category. It has a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen in 1.5K definition with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness announced at 5200 nits. It features a 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery, promising up to two days of battery life, as well as 90W TurboPower fast charging.

On the camera side, it is the only device in its category equipped with four 50 MP sensors, the main sensor, the ultra wide angle sensor, the zoom sensor and the selfie sensor. On the video side, it is capable of recording videos in 4K HDR10+.

On the processor side, it is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme and runs Android 16. The smartphone is IP68 and IP69 certified. It is available in four colors: wine red, coffee chicory, blue and white.

A new series of folding smartphones: Motorola Razr 70 Family

Motorola announces even more new features with the release of three new models belonging to the Motorola Razr 70 family, folding flip smartphones. Three new models make up this range: 70, 70 plus and 70 ultra. The three smartphones in this new series are IP48 certified.

The Razr 70 has a 6.90-inch AMOLED main display and a 3.63-inch external display, both protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Its processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X, which succeeds the Dimensity 7400X of the Motorola Razr 60. It has a 4800 mAh battery with 30 W TurboPower charging.

On the camera side, it has a main sensor and a 50 MP ultra wide angle sensor as well as a 32 MP selfie sensor.

It is available in four colors: black, icy purple, green and white. And in several configurations: 128, 256 or 512 GB with 8 or 12 GB of RAM.

Motorola Razr 70 Plus

The Razr 70 Plus offers a 4-inch AMOLED external display and a 6.90-inch AMOLED main display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a claimed maximum brightness of 3,000 nits.

It is equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. On the camera side, it also has a main sensor and a 50 Mpx ultra wide angle sensor as well as a 32 Mpx selfie sensor. Its 4800 mAh battery is compatible with 45 W TurboPower charging.

It is offered in a single configuration with 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM and a single color: “Mountain view” green.

Motorola Razr 70 Ultra

The Razr 70 Ultra is positioned as the most high-end model in this new series. The successor to the Razr 60 Ultra has a 6.96-inch AMOLED main display and a 4-inch AMOLED external display protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic. The screen has a refresh rate of 165Hz and a claimed maximum brightness of 3000 nits.

It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and runs Android 16. Its 5000 mAh battery is compatible with 68 W TurboPower charging.

On the camera side, the three sensors: main, ultra wide angle and selfie are all 50 Mpx. On the video side, it records in 8K and 4K.

It is available in several configurations: 256, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and in two colors: orient blue and wood.

The return of the “Brilliant” collection

In addition to the release of these new models, Motorola announces the return of its “Brilliant” collection, in partnership with Swarovski. Two products are concerned for this new collection: the Motorola Signature and the Moto Buds 2+. These two products will be available in a version adorned with Swarovski crystals.

Price and availability

The Razr 70, 70 Plus, 70 Ultra and Edge 70 Pro will be available in May. The g37, g37 Power, g47, g87 and the Signature Brilliant Collection, for their part, will be available next June, at prices of:
