Valeo wants to equip all employees with Gemini for Workspace, after the supplier previously relied on specialized AI agents.

Valeo is daring to carry out a gigantic experiment under real conditions. The auto supplier’s 100,000 employees gain access to Gemini for Workspace. With this, Valeo wants to usher in nothing less than a new era of productivity. Or as Christophe Périllat, CEO of Valeo, puts it: “We’re not just modernizing our tools, we’re embedding a culture of innovation throughout the company.”

With Gemini for Workspace, the company now wants to give its employees an AI tool that automates routine tasks such as combining documents. It should also help to improve global cooperation.

AI writes the code

Valeo can already boast impressive figures when it comes to AI use. With the help of Gemini Code Assist, more than 35 percent of Valeo’s code is now generated using AI. This has massively accelerated software development cycles – a key advantage in an industry where the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) is becoming the new standard.
