According to market sources, Luckin Coffee’s major shareholder Centurium Capital is evaluating a potential bid for Costa Coffee, the UK-based coffee chain owned by Coca-Cola. Centurium Capital did not respond to Jiemian News’ request for comment. The specific structure of the potential deal has yet to be determined, and it remains unclear whether Centurium would submit a bid independently or through Luckin Coffee. People familiar with the matter said discussions are still at an early stage, and it is uncertain whether a formal acquisition proposal will be made. [Jiemain News, in Chinese]
