DJI is expected to launch the Osmo Action 6 action camera on November 19, according to tipster PhotoRabz. The new model will feature a 1/1.1-inch stacked CMOS sensor co-developed with Sony, a variable aperture of F2.0–F4.0, and up to four hours of battery life. The base version is expected to start at US$329 (about RMB 2,334).
Compared with the previous Action 5 Pro’s 1/1.3-inch sensor, the new unit increases the photosensitive area by nearly 40%, enhancing low-light performance and dynamic range. It will support 8K/30fps HDR and ProRes video, 5.3K/60fps, and 4K/120fps formats, with improved RockSteady 4.0 stabilization, IP68-rated durability, and 20 m waterproofing. [IThome, in Chinese]
