Honor unveils plans for world’s first AI-powered robot phone next year · TechNode

At the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on Saturday, Honor CEO Li Jian announced plans to launch the world’s first AI-powered ROBOT PHONE in 2026. The device will integrate AI smartphone capabilities, embodied intelligence, and high-definition imaging. It will features a foldable, liftable mechanical structure, with the rear camera module transforming into an independent gimbal that supports 360° rotation, auto-tracking, and 4K ultra-HD recording. Driven by an on-device large model, the enhanced YOYO assistant will offer emotional interaction, environmental awareness, and full-scene device coordination. Earlier in March, Honor introduced its Alpha Strategy, committing $10 billion over five years to build an ecosystem for AI-driven smart devices. [National Business Daily, in Chinese]
