On Sept 16, Stelato, the premium EV brand jointly developed by Huawei and BAIC, launched the S9T wagon in China, its first model in this segment. The lineup includes four versions: the extended-range variant starting at RMB 309,800 (US$43,000) and the pure-electric version starting at RMB 329,800 (US$45,800), with deliveries set to begin on Sept 21. Built on Huawei’s new Tuling 3.0 platform, the S9T comes standard with five-level adjustable air suspension, adaptive damping, a six-in-one vehicle control architecture, and comfort features such as Motion Sickness Relief 2.0. It also debuts Huawei’s ADS 4 advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) with 36 sensors, including lidar. The extended-range version offers up to 1,305 km CLTC range (China’s test cycle), while the pure-electric version delivers up to 801 km CLTC with a 100 kWh battery and 800V fast charging.
