In the iX workshop Penetration tests: Understanding the methodology, writing it out correctly and evaluating the results, you will learn how penetration tests are planned, commissioned and evaluated in a technically meaningful way.
You will receive a structured overview of procedures, test types and typical application scenarios. It also covers how scope and requirements are meaningfully defined in tenders and what should be taken into account when selecting external service providers.
Correctly understand and evaluate results
One focus is on the interpretation of test results. You will learn about common methods such as port and vulnerability scans, web application tests and end device analyzes and learn how to avoid typical pitfalls when evaluating results – both technically and organizationally.
